Hartington Property Services aim to provide tenants with a supportive and friendly service that starts from the moment they enquire about one of our managed properties. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, we offer individual viewings - providing interested tenants with the opportunity to consider a property’s suitability and raise any questions they may have during the viewing.

If, after a viewing, you are keen to move into a property, we would move to the referencing stage.

Once satisfactory references are received, we would finalise a move date with you and arrange for the legal documentation to be signed. At this point we would also ask you to instruct your bank for an initial payment (equal to your deposit and first rent instalment) and arrange a standing order for subsequent rental payments thereafter. The initial payment needs to be confirmed as cleared funds ahead of your move in date.

A property manager would be on hand during the day of your move to ensure everything runs smoothly and to answer any remaining questions you may have.

Hartington Property Services would visit you two weeks after you have moved in and three monthly thereafter to ensure everything is in order with your new home.
